Cardigan type sweatshirt Ceylon

We love sweatshirts! All of them! This time, we’ve been tempted to get a slightly more elegant version, but still from our favourite stretchy knitted jersey. This two-button cardigan is a good alternative to a summer jacket.

It can be worn in a number of ways: when undone and thrown over the shoulders, it looks a bit like a coat with large front lapels. Alternatively, you can tie the cardigan at the waist but still loosen the lapels – this will create the most elegant and feminine look.

The lapels, fastened with two upper buttons, form a wide collar at the neck – though in spite of the oversize form, it actually makes you look slimmer. Narrow sleeves also have a slimming effect by balancing out the large overall form of the cardigan. 

Of course, we haven’t forgotten about the most important detail: the Ceylon cardigan has two large comfortable pockets at the front. The material we used is a thick jersey knit with a weight of 240g/m2 – that means the sweatshirt is of medium thickness.

– Can be machine washed at 40°C on the inside out. The more delicate the washing cycle is, the better it is for the cardigan; we also recommend washing with detergents for darks.

The model is wearing size S and is 170 cm tall.
